Reading Count Zero from William Gibson I wanted to recreate a room on a space station vaguely described in the book. A broken AI took over the station and is using manipulator-arms to create boxes with intriguingly organized random objects that are of immense beauty to the human eye. For real life reference i looked at automotive production robots, but trying to give them a bit of a sci-fi spin. The Project is still a WIP and i did a basic rig+skinning to be able to pose the robot and show some emotions (thus there is still some artifacts created by the skinning in some poses). It was really important to me that the robot feels like an alive being, that is why the design has a clear "head".
For the final project i want to pose 4-6 with different head mounts in a room and animate them fully for a VR Scene, but that is a bit further down the line. I am glad for any feedback.
